We are a national, volunteer governed, charitable organization
dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with cancer and
their families. We will achieve our misison through undertaking and
supporting national initiatives resulting in the increased survival and
wellbeing of our children, and ultimately a cure for all childhood
cancers.
The Trillium Childhood Cancer
Support Centre offers and promotes recreational experiences to bring
children with cancer and their families together. The Trillium Centre
provides an environment that normalizes relationships and experiences,
helping children and families in the healing process and enhancing
their quality of life.
Each year over 400 children are
diagnosed with cancer. This diagnosis is devastating not only to the
child, but also to their entire family. It is
Camp Trillium's goal to
ensure that children living with cancer have a special place to go to
be away from the disease, if only briefly, and to be children and enjoy
all that childhood should be--fun and full of friends. Year-round, Camp
Trillium offers 54 programs throughout the province of Ontario for
children living with cancer and their families.
We are a national, community-based organization of volunteers, whose
mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality
of life of people living with cancer.

THE
TERRY FOX FOUNDATION
To maintain the vision and
principles of Terry Fox while raising money for cancer research through
the annual Terry Fox Run (or “the Run”), memoriam
donations and planned gifts. In accordance with Terry’s
wishes, all monies raised in his name are to be used strictly for
cancer research.
Terry was not interested in
fame and glory when he embarked on his Marathon of Hope in 1980. His
sole purpose was to raise money to find a cure for cancer. The most
effective way that we could honour Terry's memory is to continue to
organize, participate and donate to The Terry Fox Run. Further to this,
The Foundation will not draw on its resources in a lobbying or fund
raising effort to perpetuate Terry’s legacy.
WIGS FOR KIDS
When children lose their hair, whether as a result of medical
treatments, health conditions, or burn accidents, they don’t
just
suffer physically. The change in their appearance can drastically
undermine their self-image and sabotage their self-esteem. To combat
this additional trauma, Certified Cosmetic Therapist™ Jeffrey
Paul
founded Wigs for Kids, a nonprofit organization that has been serving
children suffering from hair loss since 1980.
